NEWS OF THE NEEDLE

March 2003

Just a note to bring you up to date on happenings at Village Stitchery. Spring is nearly here, and we have new patterns arriving every week. We've received some terrific new designs by Jean Hilton including Turnberry Ridge, Whisper, and Visions of Sugarplums. Don't forget to sign up for her class in November. It's a first-come, first-serve basis.

We've received some exciting Stitch and Zip scissor cases. It's a decorative way to keep your scissors handy, and they make a quick gift, too.

There are new threads too. We now have in stock Rainbow Tweed, Silk and Cream, and Grandure. New Fyrewerks colors have arrived, and they are beautiful.

On sale right now, we have Mary Englebreit pin cusions at 25% off. Wouldn't Mom love one of those for Mothers Day? A large selection of cross-stitch and needlepoint patterns are 50% off. Take advantage of our sale table. There is a wide variety at bargain prices, including threads.

Our custom framing sale is still 30% off all materials. Don't let your hard work languish in a drawer, get it framed. A surprise gift for a friend is a great way to brighten their day. Don't hesitate to accent your piece with creative mat-cutting. Our framer Sarah, is willing to give all the ideas a try. If you belong to group ask about our extra group framing discount.

It's still not to late to participate in our drawing for the Ott-Lite. Due to February's nasty weather. The drawing has been postponed until March 16th. A purchase of twenty dollars or more will get you a chance to win, so come in soon.

We will be carrying size 13,15,17 and 19 knitting needles. Look in the future for us to be carrying some really exciting yarn.
